Chadar Trek:

This trek is usually over the Zanskar River of the Leh, Ladakh region. The river remains frozen in winter and the best time to visit this place is during the months of January and February. Trekkers will have to travel a distance of 105 km on one way only. The trek allows you to climb to a maximum height of 11,123ft above the sea level. The temperature of this place at this time is around -30 to -40 degrees centigrade. The trek starts from the Sumdo region and is connected to Ladakh’s Zanskar village.

Kashmir Great Lakes Trek:

This trek is one of the most amazing ones which can be attempted even by 12 year olds. The elevation level of this trek is almost 13,750 ft. Physical fitness is a must in this one. The best time to go on this trek is around June to September. You will get a view of great lakes like the Krishnasar Lake, Vishansar Lake, Gangabal Lake, Gadsar Lake, and NundKol Lake. The lakes are located in the centre of Kashmir Valley. You will need to pack for the trek properly because there is hardly any civilised area once the trek starts.

Valley of flowers:

The Valley of Flowers is one of the most beautiful places in India. This valley has snow covered mountains on one side and flowers on the other side. It has a beautiful lake called Hemkund which is located between two ranges. This trek is perfect for everyone and can be undertaken in the months of July and August. The Valley is in Uttarakhand, in the western part of the Himalayas. Get a view of the picturesque wildflowers like Popp, sediams, calendula, saxifrage, geranium, petunia, daisies and many more.

Goeche La Trek:

The view of this trek can be seen in miniature in the old Rs 100 currency notes. It is famous for the spectacular mountains seen on this trek. Get a magnificent view of Mt Kanchenjunga from Goecha La’s top. The best time to visit this place is in the months of October and November when the cold crisp wind blows and the sky is crystal clear. This trekking requires a high amount of physical fitness.

Everest Base Camp:

The Everest Base Camp is the highest mountain trek and you can even see the highest mountain of the world, Mount Everest, from this place. You can also see four of the other 10 high mountains Makalu (8481m), Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyu (8201m) and AmaDablam (6856m). The Himalayan trek is supposedly the most difficult of all. You can visit between March and May or between September and December.
